Meaning
Severity
Common Symptom
FAN-VIB
Excessive fan vibration (blower imbalance or mechanical fault)
Medium
The range hood and the cabinet structure it is mounted to shake or rattle in rhythm with the fan speed, beyond the subtle hum of normal operation, and the vibration worsens at higher fan speeds.
View
LT-FAIL
LED light malfunction (lighting system failure)
Low
Pressing the light button produces no illumination over the cooktop — no glow, no flash, and no dimming response — indicating a complete failure of the LED circuit.
View
MTR-HUM
Motor hum, no fan spin (stalled blower motor)
High
The range hood emits a constant electrical hum when the fan is commanded on, but holding a hand near the filters confirms there is zero air movement — the blower wheel is not rotating despite the motor being powered.
View
NO-PWR
No power response (complete power failure)
High
The control panel is completely unresponsive — no lights illuminate, no fan starts, and no audible feedback occurs when any button is pressed, indicating the unit has no usable power.
View
SNR-ERR
Auto sensor failure (steam/smoke detection fault)
Medium
Boiling water, high-heat frying, or heavy steaming does not trigger the Auto fan mode — the hood remains idle as steam and smoke build up in the kitchen, indicating the sensor is not detecting the cooking activity.
