LG refrigerator recall: ice maker leak hazard (2018–2019 models) — here’s what you need to know.

Affected Models: Select LG French door refrigerators with Craft Ice functionality, manufactured between January 2018 and December 2019. Approximately 35,000 units affected.
Issue: The Craft Ice maker’s water supply line connection can loosen over time, causing water to leak inside the freezer compartment and potentially drip onto the kitchen floor. Extended leaking can damage flooring and create a slip hazard.
Consumer Action: Inspect your ice maker for signs of water accumulation or ice buildup around the water supply connection. If leaking is detected, turn off the ice maker and contact LG for a free repair.
