Error Codes

Meanings, severity levels, safe checks you can perform, and when to call a technician.

Enter the code shown on your dryer display

Is it safe to keep using it?

Depends on code severity. Low/Medium codes often allow continued use, High severity requires immediate stop.

Can error codes be reset?

Some codes clear after power cycle. Persistent codes indicate underlying issues needing repair.

When should I stop using it?

Stop immediately for water leak codes, burning smell, or any High severity error.

Low Medium High
Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom
D80 Duct blockage 80% Medium With airflow restricted by 80%, moisture cannot escape efficiently and a full load may take two or more cycles to dry completely. View D90 Duct blockage 90% High With 90% of airflow blocked, moisture has almost nowhere to go and laundry will remain noticeably damp or barely warm after a full timed or auto-dry cycle. View D95 Duct blockage 95% High The thermal protection system detects runaway heat from the near-total blockage and cuts power to the heating element immediately, so clothes come out completely cold and wet. View DE Door open or door switch fault Low The drum does not turn and no heat is produced because the door interlock prevents operation whenever the door circuit is open. View E13 Water leak in base pan High Water pools under the machine or seeps from the front or rear base, indicating an internal hose has disconnected or cracked inside the dryer cabinet. View F0 Lint filter missing or unseated Low The machine powers on and accepts cycle selection but refuses to begin tumbling, preventing any drying from occurring until the filter situation is corrected. View GAS No gas supply to dryer High The drum rotates normally and the igniter attempts to fire, but without gas ignition no heat is produced and clothes remain wet after a full cycle. View HS Humidity sensor fault Medium Residue-coated sensor bars cannot detect moisture conductivity and signal that clothes are already dry, causing the auto cycle to terminate just minutes after starting. View NP No power to heater Medium The drum rotates and the cycle timer counts down normally, but clothes remain cold and damp throughout the entire cycle because the heating circuit has no power. View PF Power failure during cycle Low A power interruption cuts the dryer mid-cycle; when power is restored the machine powers back up but does not resume automatically, leaving clothes still damp inside. View TE1 Inlet temperature sensor error Medium The drum tumbles normally but the heating element or gas burner will not activate because the control board cannot get a valid temperature reading from the inlet sensor. View TE2 Secondary thermistor sensor error Medium The thermistor is responsible for regulating heat — a faulty sensor may allow the drum to overheat before the code triggers, or the dryer may run cold if the sensor reads an abnormally high temperature. View TE3 Exhaust temperature sensor error Medium Without a valid exhaust temperature reading, the moisture-sensing logic cannot determine when clothes are dry — the cycle either overruns or ends prematurely, leaving laundry damp or over-dried.
