Error Codes
Meanings, severity levels, safe checks you can perform, and when to call a technician.
Enter the code shown on your cooktop display
Is it safe to keep using it?
Depends on code severity. Low/Medium codes often allow continued use, High severity requires immediate stop.
Can error codes be reset?
Some codes clear after power cycle. Persistent codes indicate underlying issues needing repair.
When should I stop using it?
Stop immediately for water leak codes, burning smell, or any High severity error.

Common Symptom
E0
Internal circuit error
High
Because the fault is on the main control board, all heating zones go offline at the same time — not just one burner or induction zone.
View
E1
Over-temperature protection
High
The affected heating zone — or all zones simultaneously — cuts power mid-cook as the over-temperature protection activates; the cooktop surface may still feel hot to the touch.
View
E3
No compatible pan detected
Low
The induction zone activates its detection cycle, fails to find a compatible pan, and displays E3 without generating any heat — the glass surface remains cool to the touch.
View
E5
Temp sensor open circuit
High
The zone that has the faulty sensor goes offline and displays E5; it cannot be restarted because the safety system requires a valid temperature reading before allowing the zone to heat.
View
E7
Low supply voltage
Medium
The cooktop is most likely to trigger E7 under high power load — when drawing maximum current, a marginal supply voltage drops below the threshold and the board shuts down to protect the electronics.
View
F1
IGBT module overheat
High
The zone appears to start normally but cuts out after several minutes as the IGBT module heats up to its thermal limit and the protection circuit activates.
