LG installation & setup — here’s what you need to know.
Proper installation is critical to the long-term performance and warranty validity of your LG appliance. Our installation technicians follow LG’s published installation requirements to the letter — correct electrical supply, water-inlet pressure, levelling, and clearances — so your new appliance starts its working life on the right footing.
Washer and Dryer Installation
LG front-load washers such as the WM6500HBA and WM4000HBA must be installed on a level, solid surface with the transit bolts removed before first use. We handle the full process: unboxing, transit-bolt removal, connecting the fill hoses to the correct inlet valves (hot and cold for some models), setting levelling feet to within LG’s tolerance, and running a calibration cycle. For LG heat-pump dryers including the DLHC1455V, we position the unit, connect to the appropriate 240 V circuit, and verify the condensate drain route — whether to a standpipe, drain hose, or internal tank.
Refrigerator Installation
LG French-door refrigerators — particularly InstaView models such as the LRMVS3006S and LRFOC2606S — require precise door-swing clearance and a minimum 2-inch rear air gap. We connect the water line for ice-maker and water-dispenser models, flush the initial water supply through the filter, and pair the unit to the LG ThinQ app where requested. For built-in and counter-depth models, we verify the cabinet opening dimensions match LG’s specifications before completing the installation.
Dishwasher and Cooking Appliance Installation
LG built-in dishwashers in the LDF and LDFN series require secure under-counter mounting to prevent tipping and to maintain the door seal during operation. We connect the supply line, drain hose, and electrical junction, then run a test cycle. For LG slide-in and freestanding ranges in the LRE, LSE, LTG, and LDG series, we verify the anti-tip bracket is anchored before the range is placed, make all gas or electrical connections to code, and test every burner and oven mode.
Pricing
Installation services start from $99 per appliance. The final cost will be confirmed after assessing your existing connections and installation environment. Old-appliance removal and haul-away is available as an add-on.
